Dark Moon Goddess
Dark Moon and Black of Night
Empowering me in my Plight
New Moon cresting overhead
Barest glimmer of light
What a lovely sight
Darkest time of the Moon
Sacred to the Goddesses of Great Might
Sometimes feared,
Yet they are not Goddesses to Dread
Overwhelming intensity of energy
Sparks new ideas of emotional ecstasy
Loving support can be found
Within the Dark Warmth
Of Summer’s Moonless Night Skies!
Oh, what a time for reverence on high
No need to hide, no need to lie
The Dark Winged Embrace of
The Shapeshifted Raven
Which becomes a Haven
On this New Moon Cycle!
